The paper that started the company
In 2017, researchers bought 44 products marketed as research compounds from the open internet and ran them through an analytical lab. Only 52% contained the compound on the label. 39% contained a different unapproved drug entirely. 25% were dosed differently than claimed.
We'd been buying from that market for years. Reading the paper, the question stopped being “which vendor seems trustworthy” and became “why does trust come into it at all?” An analytical certificate isn't exotic technology. It costs a few hundred dollars a batch. The market just didn't bother.
